Cognition, etc. was started in 2010 as the personal blog of Andrew Hirst, a PhD student in the Philosophy department at the University of Nottingham, UK. In 2012 he expanded the site and recruited some writers, hoping to turn it into a lively hub of interdisciplinary discussion around topics related to culture, art, criticism, and the human mind.
The author’s thoughts and opinions are entirely their own, and do not necessarily reflect the views of other authors.
Andrew can be reached by email and can also be found on Twitter.
